Body Paragraph Structure

  1. Write the TS (based on the thick Q)
  2. Type up all the ESs that go with that thick Q, adding citations as I go.
  3. Read over the ESs to see if I need to:
    1. Change the order of the ESs so the info makes more sense
    2. Change transitions so ESs flow together better
    3. Add “explaining” or “transitioning” analysis sentences to increase the clarity of ESs.
4) Add “significance” or “thesis tie” analysis sentences at the end of the paragraph by asking myself why that chunk of information (ESs) is important to know in order to understand my topic.
5) Double-check that I’ve used more than 1 source in this paragraph. (synthesis)
